What The Hell!

Okay today has blown. Seriously.

First, I set up the bread maker to start a loaf of bread so that I had it for breakfast this morning before I went to bed. Now, I went to bed around 2:30am, got woke up at 5am because the bread maker wasn’t working properly. One of the two paddles came off, so yeah, fixed that, restarted it and went off to sleep again. I get woke again at 8 because the bread is done and I had to make a phone call. So, took the bread out, made the call, had my breakfast of warm bread and butter and a cup of nasty coffee. I turn on my TV to watch Rachel Ray and the screen is… BLUE. What the hell? It was like someone laid a blue filter over everything. I decided a while later to go lay back down since all I did was doze in fits and starts.

I woke up again at 1pm, find out that the 10 cup coffee pot went down the tubes. Mom put vinegar through it to clean it and it shit it out the bottom. What?? No biggie, really, cuz it was over 5 years old. I knew this morning it was gonna die, my coffee tasted horribly burnt and it wasn’t brewing properly. So yeah.

Rob gets home from work, so we head off to the store to hit up a 3-day sale to get our meat for the month and a few other things. We stop at the Dollar General for a new, cheap, replacement coffee maker. $10 for a 12-cup. Score! At least I thought it was. We get home, put stuff away, make dinner, go on about life. We’d set up coffee maker, but hadn’t tested it. Mom went to set it up for morning and put the water in… it was on the counter nearly as fast as it was poured in. Huh? So we dump it, clean up the mess, I put a little water in, it’s fine. Thought maybe it was overfilled, so I put *more* water in and that starts coming out. What the fuck?? Needless to say, it’s getting exchanged tomorrow.

Today has been one of those days where you just can’t make the shit up. Really. The only two -good- things? Warm bread in the morning and going to and from the store without having car problems! Seriously. It’s been one of *those* days. On the bright side, I’m getting a new television Monday, so hopefully mine will survive the weekend.
