Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

HOLY SHIT! I freaking LOVED this novel. I dove head first and never came up for air. Seriously. I want NEED the third book NOW. Guh. If you haven’t read The Hunger Games, you MUST.

From Goodreads:
Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

I really can’t even put into words how much I loved this book. I can’t wait for the 3rd one, and I have no idea when it’ll be written/published. Guh.

I’m so thankful for Books on the Nightstand having the DystopYA challenge because I never would have picked these books up on my own. Not in a million years.

Now that I’ve completed all 6 of the Dystopic novels for the challenges, I’m not sure what I’m going to move on to. Stay tuned!
