Okay, guess what folks. I’m PISSED OFF. I’m goddamn sick and tired of people slagging on Laurell K Hamilton and/or Stephenie Meyer. Who died and gave you people the right to sit and slag on someone elses writing? NO ONE. If you don’t like their writing, DON’T READ IT. Plain and goddamn simple as that. If you’re going to slag on authors for their writing style, slag on J K Rowling while you’re fucking at it. Oh wait, that’d piss off too many people, wouldn’t it? If you want to sit in almighty judgement of one author, judge them all. Every single one of them has some sort of flaw in their writing.

I’m fucking tired of hearing how awful LKH is and how dreadful Twilight was. Guess what, sweetheart? Harry Potter wasn’t a great piece of literary treasure either. So come down off that fucking high horse and lay off these authors whom you think suck. If you dislike them, so be it. Not everyone shares that opinion, just like not everyone thinks that other authors are the best thing since sliced bread. Period.

‘Twilight’ release moves to Nov. 21

Thanks to Angel for pointing out that there was a date change for Twilight. I hadn’t seen *this* headline! This makes me so much happier. I will be able to see Twilight sooner than I thought. I want to reread the book before hand though. I also need to read the newest one as soon as I get it. That softens the blow of Harry Potter being moved, sort of. I think, even more strongly now, that the change for the HP release is because of the change for Twilight. Why would WB release the change 2 days after the change of Twilight was announced? There has to be a reason…

Seriously.. wtf? From November to next July? Are they scared of Twilight coming out in December? That’s ridiculous! They are just going to piss off a whole lot of fans, including me. I was planning on seeing it, then Twilight the following month. There is NO reason for them to have done it. Oh wait, they have no big summer movies year, so they think that Harry will be it. Well screw you, Warner Bros. You just made a lot of enemies! I would love to see people protest opening weekend next July, seriously. I know I’d like to. I may wait until it’s near the end of it’s run to see it.

(AP) How does J.K. Rowling feel now that she has finished the seventh and final Harry Potter book? As the author herself confided Tuesday on her Web site, “Charles Dickens put it better than I ever could”:

“It would concern the reader little, perhaps, to know how sorrowfully the pen is laid down at the close of a two-years’ imaginative task; or how an Author feels as if he were dismissing some portion of himself into the shadowy world, when a crowd of the creatures of his brain are going from him for ever,” reads the passage from Dickens’ preface to “David Copperfield.”

Adds Rowling: “To which I can only sigh, try seventeen years, Charles.”
