And the REST of the story!
It only took me all day to get this far. I keep getting distracted by shinies.
Sorry for all the post-whore-ness, but at least I’m posting
I know I haven’t been posting a whole lot lately, I just haven’t felt like sitting and writing them out, even tho I want to share. I’m going to try to do better, especially since it helps me too.
Anyway, yesterday was the 4th of July and we had nothing planned except a quiet day. We had talked about going to Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake for the Parade of Boats and Fireworks, but Indy Racing is in town there, so we decided not to. We had talked about a few different things to do, but we ended up doing none of them. In fact, the only thing we did was go to the store and pick up some yummy steaks and Bush’s Grillin’ Beans to cook up for dinner. We ended up watching Macy’s and Boston Pops fireworks on TV, and that covers what we did for the holiday. It was actually rather nice to just have a chill day.
Today, however, wasn’t really a chill day. Today was grocery day! Ick. I’m not a big fan of grocery shopping during the summer months. There are too many kids in the stores. Today wasn’t too bad, though, since most people were still celebrating or sobering up or something. We also stopped to get Rob’s work schedule too. I’m not a big fan of his Friday schedule, but there’s not much that we can do about it since I didn’t know Music In The Park was going to start this week. If he gets off the time he should, we should be able to still catch part of it.
Beyond grocery shopping, nothing else got done other than me and my update fest and my buying of 3 John Grisham novels. Which has now ended, since I have nothing else to post about tonight.
If you’ve made it through all my posts, congratulations. You deserve an award.
Now it’s time to go chill and watch the last few laps of the race. Peace.
