What PPP Has Done For Me

Jul-26-2007 By tyralyn

I found payperpost through a friend on livejournal. She posts hers there for everyone to see and the concept intrigued me so I started investigating. A writer is always looking for a new way to make money, right? I know I am, that’s for sure. I liked the ideal of payperpost blogging. Why not write about products and sites and get paid for it, I already was doing it without the financial benefit.

I signed up with payperpost and at first thought maybe I’d made a mistake, since it was taking so long to get my blog approved. Then it finally happened, I got approved and I was able to start taking opportunities. I have since taken eight different opportunities, most of which have been approved right off. Within days I knew this was going to work out well for me to earn a few extra dollars here and there.

I’ve been with payperpost since the first part of June and have already received payments on half of my posts, with payment pending on others. You don’t get paid right up front, but you know that you have that money coming after 30 days. It’s always a comfort to have the knowledge that it’s there and will be coming your way. You never know when you’re going to need a few extra dollars.

Is the money spectacular? It can be, if you use payperpost to your full advantage and have multiple blogs. I have not done this, since I’m not interested in using payperpost for more than a bit of pocket change for little things that I want. Who knows, maybe I’ll save my payperpost payments and buy something big.

If you’re looking to make some money blogging, give payperpost a chance and hey, toss a referral my way. ;)

Ugh.. fanfic.. my plague

Jul-24-2007 By tyralyn

I wrote some fanfic… *stabs self*

Title: Deathly Hallows: New Epilogue
Author: mzserena
Date: 07/24/07
Fandom (if Fanfiction): Harry Potter
Rating: G
Summary: I didn’t like the epilogue that Rowling wrote, so I wrote my own. Spoilerage ensues beyond the link. If you haven’t read book 7, don’t complain if I spoil it.
Location: New Epilgue

Tick.. Tock…

Jul-21-2007 By tyralyn

*twiddles and waits for her book*

I’m not as excited about it as I was before the whole “OMG Someone took pictures of all the pages and leaked it!” stuff. I really just want my book, I want to read it, unspoiled, and go on with life.

That being said.. I’m wandering off until later. I’m bored, having finished the other book I was reading.

Idrive - The leader in online storage

Jul-15-2007 By tyralyn

We’ve all had moments of needing to back stuff up and not have any CD’s or disks to back things up on, haven’t we? I know that I have and I’ve always struggled to find somewhere to upload large amounts of data that I needed to save. So next time you’re looking for an online backup service, give Idrive a chance. You can upload up to 2GB for free. Yes, free. You don’t find that often. You can upload files of any size, you can share files with others, and you can use it as a mapped drive on your own computer system. They offer a drag and drop interface that gives you the ease of use of windows explorer, encrypted transfers, encrypted storage and even telephone support.

If you want more than the free 2GB space, you can pay a small fee for unlimited storage as well. Idrive charges $4.95 per month for this service when you’d be paying double or triple other places for less space and fewer features. So when you look at online backup, make sure you stop at Idrive first.

Publishing Articles :)

So, I wrote an editorial on the Chris Benoit case for Associated Content and again, it got declined because of “similar content.” I’m starting to notice a trend… So, I sold it elsewhere. Go check it out. :) The Chris Benoit Murder/Suicide Case

For deyaniera mostly - if you’re having the same problem with Associated Content that I am and want to sell stuff elsewhere, Triond is pretty good.. they don’t do upfront pay, but do profit sharing/page view. But they sell your stuff to larger markets.
