Winter is coming on quick in the North East US and it’s time to think about putting the fans away and getting the heating arranged for the cold nights. With the sky-rocketing price of heating oil, I’m looking into alternatives, like one of the fireplaces from Desa. We live in a drafty mobile home, where one room will be boiling hot from the oil heat and the other rooms will be like the inside of a meat locker, so a room heater in the colder rooms would eleviate that as well as lower the amount of oil that our furnace consumes.

Desa has many different styles of heating sources, like fireplaces that use electric, natural gas or propane. All of which would drastically cut the heating oil bill without increasing other bills drastically. Especially electric, since the fans would be turned off and put away, not adding to the bill. Plus, when it comes spring, the furnce can be turned off completely and the fireplace could be used to take off any chill that there is.
