I like to shop online. I tend to look at many different sites before I buy. To that point, I also go coupon hunting before buying as well. I noticed that Buckle, a clothing store for younger men and women. They have some really cute clothing, if you are into the style they carry. They also have some seriously cute shoes as well, no matter your age. With that being said, there are some great buckle coupons out there. With Christmas coming up quickly, there are a great many gift giving opportunities out there with Buckle and their coupons.

Trick Or Treat
Posted October 30th 2011 by tyralynLast night was our “Halloween” at my house. Trick-or-Treat is tonight in our town, but this year, we decided to go out for Halloween. We didn’t really dress up, per se. I sprayed my hair down with purple glitter hairspray and Rob wore his work uniform. I don’t feel the need to do something outrageous and I was glad to see that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t.
Today is a chill kind of day for us. We’ve cleaned, done laundry and rearranged furniture. I even had a nice nap this afternoon. Now, i’m watching football and looking at columbia jackets. I should get a warmer jacket for the winter, but I don’t really want to. I rather like the one I have now.
I’m sleepy and ready for another nap. Hope everyone has a safe, happy Halloween tomorrow.

Thinking and Dreaming
Posted October 29th 2011 by tyralynI have been having dreams about jobs lately. Knowing full well that I can’t work. It’s kind of sucky, but I’ve been dreaming of becoming a chef or cook in a restaurant. Really? Why? I think it started when I saw an advertisement for a cook’s position here locally. However, my dream was that I was looking for Chef or Head Cook Jobs in Las Vegas. That’s rather a mecca for those wanting to get into that career field with so many small places, as well as large places to eat.
I loved living in Las Vegas. There was really no need for fast food places there. There were so many other restaurants in all price ranges that fast food wasn’t really necessary unless you wanted to eat in a hurry or were REALLY broke. I had one place in particular that I loved. It was a chinese buffet. I wonder if it’s still there. I doubt it, honestly. There’s so much turnover in that city that it’s not even funny. A restaurant could be open today and be closed next week. There are times when I miss it there, but I couldn’t live there again.
Now I’ll have to go see if my chinese buffet is still around…

Thoughtful
Posted October 16th 2011 by tyralynSo much to think about. So many decisions to make. We have a vehicle. It needs a little TLC and some work. Will it pass inspection? I have no idea, tbqh. I’m sure hoping it will. I need rear break pads. I know I need rotors on the front ASAP, but will it need rear? I hope not. I need to get it looked at, but no money left.
I have been mused over some discussions about television antennas. Someone who has DirecTV was talking about needing one. I said that was the reason we got rid of them. Well, that and the cost difference. We’re paying half what we were paying for our tv, phone and internet.
I’m bored out of my mind, seriously bored. I want to go have some fun, but there’s no time for that. Blah. Back to the football game.

Musically Inclined
Posted October 15th 2011 by tyralynI am fairly musically inclined. I used to play clarinet. I’ve always wanted to learn the Piano, but never got the opportunity. The one thing, however, that I will never understand – the electric guitar. acoustic guitar is great, but I don’t care for electric. Sure there are a ton of electric guitar songs, but I don’t understand the prominence of the electric guitar. I noticed that with the local school band, there are kids playing the electric guitar now. Why?
When I was in school, it was percussion, woodwind, brass. We didn’t have a string section even. I am stunned by the way things have changed, really.

Holy Documents..
Posted October 15th 2011 by tyralynSo, I was handing a crapton of documents the other night. Why? Because the person who gave them to me wanted to be rid of them and he thought they were of historical value. I looked at this bag and nearly cried. Lets be honest. It’s made me wonder about document imaging and wondering if it’d be a worthwhile thing to do for these documents.
I should read through some of the documents, really. I wonder how much of it would be utter garbage that doesn’t mean crap. I’m sure it’ll be educational when I do read them.

Yep, I’m stressed
Posted September 30th 2011 by tyralynI can’t wait until Wednesday – I can go to my doctor’s office finally. Hopefully, he’ll give me something for all this stress, since I don’t seem to be handling it very well. I doubt that he’ll care, honestly, but we’ll see. I’m hoping that I can find somewhere I can get financed for a vehicle next week. We need one by the end of the month. I am starting to wonder if it’d be easier to get dental equipment financing or something. I’m so sick of my life right now.
Ever get that feeling? Yeah, my life all the time. Can I have a redo now?

Frustrated
Posted September 26th 2011 by tyralynLife has me incredibly frustrated. I have to rearrange my life because we don’t have our own car. I had to move my neurosurgeon appointment so that Rob could have the day off. I was supposed to go September 28th and now I don’t get to go until November 1st. At least by then, Rob will be back in Sayre working and there won’t be so much of a hassle.
My biggest frustration is that every time I think I can get slightly ahead, I fall further behind. This time is my fault. I forgot to deduct something, now I’ve got under $2 in my account to last the week. We’ll make it through. I just wish I could figure out what to do about the rest of my problems.

Thinky Thoughts
Posted September 25th 2011 by tyralynSo, I went from football to Nascar cuz I can’t stand to watch the Bills get slaughtered. Now, I’m phone shopping. I’d love to have an Atrix 4G, but I can’t afford the data plan that goes with it. Oh well. I’ll stick with my basic flip phone and wait patiently until things get better.
I’m thinking about having a cookie exchange, but I’m not sure Mom would want to do it. We could host it, it’d be a lot of fun and we’d get to have our friends around, sharing cookies and recipes. Ii was also thinking about hosting a community wide cookie exchange, but that’s a helluva lot of cookies to bake. I wonder if anyone would be interested in it. Set a number of types of cookies you take and how many you can leave with. Say each person brings 5 dozen cookies, that’s how many they leave with.
We’ll see, I guess.

Pool Season
Posted September 14th 2011 by tyralynSeems that pool season is officially over for our area. It’s supposed to be down in the 30′s at night for a few nights coming up. Brr. That means that its time to button up for the winter. But that also means that it’s time to buy things on special. I wonder if you can find pentair heat pumps cheap for next season. People bitch that their pools don’t get warm enough, even when it’s outside and this could change that.
Me? I don’t have a pool, I don’t use a pool often, so I really don’t know much about it. My friends have a pool, so maybe Ill suggest it to them.
